PHOTOSHOOT – A scenic drive via written directions to a beautiful mountain vista where our Official VOTR Photographers will be on hand to photograph you and your Corvette in a highly breathtaking setting.  A wonderful memento of your Colorado VOTR experience.

FUNKANA – A slow speed, timed driving course on a parking lot.  There are a few stops along the way to perform “gimmick” activities, such as tossing toilet paper into a toilet, or something equally silly. Trophies are given for accumulated points for driving accuracy, time and completed gimmicks.  A driver AND a navigator are required for this event.

AUTOCROSS is a timed driving event which will be held at the Keystone Resort.  The course is outlined with chalk and cones.  At curves, a cone is laid on its side to direct you through the curve.  If you go off the course, you receive a Did Not Finish (DNF).  You receive a penalty for each cone you knock down.  The penalties add seconds to your final lap time.  Goal:  Finish the course as quickly as possible – safely!

SHOW ‘N SHINE – This car show is on Main Street, Frisco.  Judging of cars is by class (year, modifications) with criteria specified by the Show ‘n Shine committee.  LGCA member’s cars are judged separately. NO TRAILERS OR GLITTER PERMITTED.  ALL 4 tires must be on the ground!

REMINDER:  Frisco and Breckenridge are 9,500+ feet above sea level.   You may drive as high as 11,000 feet if you go to Peak 8, Copper Mountain or Vail.   Each of us is at some risk of high altitude sickness and a small percentage of people feel some effects from the change in altitude.  Common Symptoms:  Insomnia, headaches that common over-the-counter painkillers do not help, nausea, dizziness or lightheadedness, shortness of breath, or loss of appetite.  Preventive Measures:   Drink a LOT of water.  Cut back on beverages with alcohol and caffeine.  Take it easy.  This can also affect Colorado residents!
