Tour of Michael Garman's Sculptures

and Lunch at the

Golden Bee At The Broadmoor

April 9, 2011

If you have never visited the Michael Garman Sculpture Tour should plan a trip.  This man's artistry is something to behold.

After the tour we had our lunch in reproduction of an ol' English pub, found at the Golden Bee At The Broadmoor.  The Golden Bee originally came to The BROADMOOR in 1961 as a collection of panels and fixtures from an entire 19th-century pub that was shipped from England and reassembled in Colorado Springs - a town once nicknamed "Little London."

The day was beautiful, the ride was smooth (just a little wind), and the food was very good.  A few of the participants with drivers even chanced a full yard of their favorite brew, as show in the slideshow below.
