AUTOCROSS
REPORT

We were fortunate this year to have a
National Tour and a Pro-Solo come through Denver. Tom and Melanie
Pora and Debbie Lasson all competed in the National Tour. Melanie
and Debbie both took home Tour trophies this year. Debbie was the
only LGCA member to compete in the Pro-Solo event. (A Pro-Solo is a
special event with 2 cars running on mirror courses with a drag
strip start.)
If you’ve thought
about coming out to an Autocross SCHOOL, there is one more scheduled
for this year on September 9th. Be sure to call one of
us for more information!
The 2006 autocross year is winding down and
we are more than half way through the schedule. We need to see
more Corvette drivers at these events – let’s make 2006 the year
that you get out and Drive Your Car!!!!!

Remember you must pre-register to participate
in an event. This is done on their website at
www.rmsolo.org. There is a tab called
“Getting Started” that explains how the events are run and then just
follow the steps on the “Registration” tab. Please feel free to

you just want to come out to watch and see how it all works! (No
charge for spectators!)
